Born Kayode Michael Fayehun, on September 23, 1993, Kaydex is originally from Ondo town, Ondo state Nigeria. He currently resides in Lagos. Before relocating to Lagos he attended Premier Grammar School Abeokuta.
His foray into music in 2009 was motivated by the desire to continue his grandfather GENERAL ADEKUNLE's legacy. General Adekunle is a Nigerian Juju musician and is one of His creative influences.
Kaydex is also a songwriter and employs the use of creative African lyrics to deliver truly original sounds.
His debut single "EGWUEJI" was released officially on the 8th of August, 2016 and was produced by FLIPTYCE. A video has also been released for this track.
